Elemental Nest Suppressed

The void twisted, and stormy waves surged.

When the Dragon Snake starship unleashed its full power and transformed into a star-lit dragon-snake, charging toward the Elemental Nest, the nest was clearly taken by surprise.

In the next instant, the void around them twisted. The Elemental Sea, spread across all directions, abruptly rolled back, even abandoning its attack on the other starship. Countless elemental waves and origin storms swept back and crashed toward the star-lit dragon-snake formed by the Dragon Snake.

Even from the countless honeycomb-like holes in the Elemental Nest, great numbers of Elemental Spirits poured out. Some took human form, others the shape of beasts or birds, while still others appeared as mountains, rivers, flames, trees, and more.

After emerging from the Elemental Nest, the Elemental Spirits brought forth brilliant Elemental Spirit Crystals. They merged directly with the surging waves of the Elemental Sea and the origin storms crashing back around them.

In an instant, the elemental waves and origin storms sweeping toward them seemed to gain minds of their own. Their power surged, and they could even form all kinds of battle formations, crashing forward in wave after wave.

But this outburst clearly came at a considerable cost. It was plain to see that the Elemental Spirits who merged with the waves of the Elemental Sea and the origin storms were being devoured and dissolved by the sea's origins and Elemental Power.

First their elemental bodies, then the Elemental Spirit Crystals they had brought forth—just like snow melting into water, or the way all things dissolved into the Dao, they were swallowed by the Elemental Sea.

Clearly, the Elemental Sea's outburst came at the cost of sacrificing these Elemental Spirits.
