The Star Chart Great Formation sealed and suppressed them as starships and spaceports launched attacks. Immortal artifacts and divine abilities swept through the void, while spiritual and starlight blazed across the system.
Seventh-rank Void Demon Race members were constantly being slain in the void, and vast swaths of the Void Demon Tide were shattered and cleared away.
After Liang Ji and the others finished dividing up the seventh-rank Void Golden Eagle's corpse and looked back toward the battlefield, they found that hardly any seventh-rank Void Demon Race members remained inside or around the Chongzi Star System. Those that were left had mostly been intercepted by Taiyi Star Palace or Shan De Lou's forces, and were locked in battle.
"Looks like we won't be able to earn any more bonuses from Shan De Lou."
Liang Ji said regretfully. Under the employment contract they had signed with Shan De Lou, for every seventh-rank Void Demon Race member they took down beyond those first two, their reward would increase by sixty percent.
Now, though, they had no such opportunity.
Shan De Lou was a major corporation spanning multiple star domains within the Star Alliance, while Taiyi Star Palace specialized in the Bloodline Atlas and had the Star Alliance's deepest knowledge of the Void Demon Race. Even if the forces they had stationed in the Chongzi Star System were limited, they were still formidable.
