Background / History

Bibi Dong lost both parents while young. After awakening Twin Martial Souls, she was taken in and trained by Spirit Hall, becoming the Pope's disciple and Spirit Hall's Holy Maiden. She later fell in love with Yu Xiaogang and attempted to leave Spirit Hall to elope with him 175.

Qian Xun Ji prevented her departure, confined her in a secret chamber, and forced her to bear his child. Her resentment subsequently extended beyond him to Spirit Hall and eventually the entire world. Qian Renxue is the daughter born from this abuse 175 255.

Bibi Dong later killed and devoured Qian Xun Ji, entering the path of an Evil Soul Master. Qian Renxue remained unaware of her responsibility and instead blamed Tang Hao and the Clear Sky Sect for her father's death 130 161.

As Pope, Bibi Dong sought to keep the papacy outside the Qian family's control. She preferred Hu Liena as her successor—even over her own daughter—but recognized that Qian Renxue possessed greater talent and the backing of the Worship Hall 93.
