As he watched, Venerable Yuanshi said coldly:

"This Seat thought you wouldn't dare come."
"Now it seems you had Tongtian and the others fight us first so you could sit atop the mountain and watch the tigers fight?"
"I never expected you to scheme even against your own people."
As he spoke, Venerable Yuanshi's eyes fixed on Qin Mu, killing intent icy and sharp.
He hated Qin Mu to the bone.
Ever since Qin Mu's rise, he had ruined no small number of Yuanshi's plans.
Moreover, Venerable Yuanshi had suffered quite a few humiliations at Qin Mu's hands.
Especially during the earlier battle in the Western Sea, Qin Mu had directly slain him.
Only with Heavenly Dao Power holding sway had he been revived on Kunlun Mountain.
Yet Qin Mu refused to let the matter rest. He had actually blocked the way at Kunlun Mountain—each time Yuanshi revived, Qin Mu slew him once more.
He had suppressed and killed him a full nine times, yet still showed no intention of stopping.
Fortunately, Dao Ancestor Hongjun descended and finally put an end to it.
At the thought of this, the fury in Venerable Yuanshi's heart blazed uncontrollably.
Upon hearing Venerable Yuanshi's words, Qin Mu gave a soft, cold laugh and said:
"Uncle-Master Yuanshi."
"If you wish to sow discord between my master and me, I'm afraid you're indulging in a fool's dream."
At that, Qin Mu paused. He then glanced at the Primordial Violet Qi in the void, which had already solidified, before continuing:
