Jade Pure Immortal Light

Pangu Banner and Pangu Form

• Qin Mu — Tongtian’s disciple, whom Yuanshi initially approves of and praises. Their relationship later turns hostile over the Underworld, sect fortune, and Qin Mu’s growing power 3 45 187 421 561.
• Guangchengzi — Yuanshi’s foremost disciple. Yuanshi gives him the Fan Tian Yin and later entrusts him with sect affairs during seclusion 403 502.
• Yu Ding — Disciple of Yuanshi following the Three Pure Ones’ separation 44.
• Daoist Randeng — A Quasi-Saint who asks to become Yuanshi’s disciple. He remains associated with Yuanshi’s faction but is not accepted as a direct disciple; Yuanshi later confines him after a failure involving the Human Emperor 45 73 502.

• The Three Pure Ones’ split — Yuanshi approves of Qin Mu’s entry into their lineage, then recruits disciples of his own. Clashes between his followers and Tongtian’s culminate in a confrontation over Juliusun’s false accusation; Yuanshi remains on Kunlun Mountain when the brothers separate 3 29 36 37.
• Founding the Chan Teachings — Shocked that Tongtian attains Sagehood first, Yuanshi follows the sect-founding path, establishes the Chan Teachings, and becomes the Primordial World’s third Saint 71 72.
• Struggle for the Underworld — Yuanshi allies with Nuwa, Jieyin, and Zhunti to claim its authority and counter Tongtian’s Immortal Slaying Sword Formation. Qin Mu and Empress Pingxin thwart the plan; Hongjun subsequently forbids the Saints from interfering further 177 187 196.
• Conflict with Qin Mu — Yuanshi intervenes for the Lord of Xingchen and later backs the Dragon Emperor against Qin Mu. After cultivating with a strange aura beneath Kunlun, he reaches Primordial Unity Grand Unity Golden Immortal, but Qin Mu overcomes him in battle and repeatedly kills him 421 546 548 556 578.
• Demonic influence and final fall — Yuanshi absorbs ancient demonic energy beneath Kunlun and encounters the Primordial Heavenly Demon through a hidden portal. During the Investiture conflict, his attempt to summon Demon Ancestor Luohu fails when Hongjun blocks Luohu’s entry; Qin Mu subsequently kills Yuanshi 503 574 575 772 779.
• The false Yuanshi — A figure bearing Yuanshi’s appearance and Jade Pure aura emerges at Yuxu Palace, but Hongjun and Taishang recognize that the true Yuanshi has not returned. The figure is the Primordial Heavenly Demon, who has taken over Yuanshi’s identity 782 783 784 804.
