The Molten Lava Giant Dragon knew almost instantly that its sworn brother, the otherworldly Black Wind Fiend, had come to beg for help.
Or rather, to hide.
Something similar had happened before, when Black Wind Fiend had run into a Baleful Intent passing through.
Seeing such a fine place as the mass grave, that Baleful Intent had immediately driven Black Wind Fiend out and even hunted him down. If the Molten Lava Giant Dragon hadn't stepped in, Black Wind Fiend might have been finished.
Later, that Baleful Intent discovered that the Yin Corpse Mound was all bark and no bite, and grew bolder by the day.
Sometimes, the Yin Corpse Mound disciples had barely finished dumping an abandoned zombie corpse when it would drag the corpse away and feast on it.
Eventually, it wasn't satisfied with the status quo. It brought a group of Weirds into the Yin Corpse Mound's territory and started digging up graves and corpses.
The result was only natural. Though the Yin Corpse Mound had suffered a grievous blow, a lean camel was still bigger than a horse.
The arrogant Baleful Intent was promptly dealt with by the zombies that rose from their graves.
After the turmoil passed, Black Wind Fiend returned to the mass grave and went back to his days of secretly stealing abandoned zombies to absorb their yin energy.
That was why, when Zhao Han had first arrived at the mass grave, quite a few abandoned zombie corpses had still been lying around.
Naturally, Black Wind Fiend hadn't dared to push things too far. Sneaking around was one thing; openly causing trouble was out of the question.
The Yin Corpse Mound hadn't been blind, of course, but they'd simply turned a blind
