Verification and Request

A few days later, in the center of the tower laboratory, the holographic display was divided into several different observation angles, transmitting real-time developments from across the plane.

Benjamin stood before the main console, his sharp gaze sweeping across the constantly refreshing stream of data as he delivered his report in an even voice:

"Experiment Sequence Seven, Phase Three begins. Observation target: the newly introduced intelligent variant of the Rock-Twisting Vine, entering the Seventh Plain combat zone."

On the display, a group of new activated vines covered in dark brown, tumor-like nodules, stout and resilient in form, was advancing toward a distant battlefield of flashing light and wildly waving vines with a speed utterly at odds with their clumsy appearance.

"According to Lady Starfall's design, the Rock-Twisting Vine partially overlaps with the early-awakened Demon-Devouring Vine in ecological niche. Both require rare minerals from the soil."

"In terms of morphological aesthetics, the Rock-Twisting Vine leans more toward 'solidity' and 'heaviness.' In theory, it should differ more greatly from elemental creatures that pursue 'streamlined forms' and 'radiance,' while possessing a potential resonance with the Demon-Devouring Vine's beauty of 'twisted entanglement.'"

As the new vines reached the edge of the battlefield, the luminous elemental creatures that had been endlessly tangled up with the Demon-Devouring Vines immediately reacted.

Like a disturbed swarm of bees, they split off a blazing stream of light and attacked the Rock-Twisting Vines without hesitation, energy beams raining down like raindrops.

Yet the army of Demon-Devouring Vines on the other side of the battlefield displayed a completely different reaction from before.

Rather than immediately launching indiscriminate attacks as they had against other outsiders, they slowed their confrontation with the elemental creatures. Countless vine tips turned toward the newly arrived kin like eyes, cautiously "examining" them.

After a brief standoff and
