Benjamin instinctively lowered his head to look at the blue crystal in his hand.
The crystal was faintly warm, and the specks of light within it drifted slowly, as though alive.
The corners of his mouth slowly curled upward.
"It seems my hypothesis was right. It really did cause effective damage..."
"No, an effective kill."
Thinking this, Benjamin merely glanced back at the surging white tide behind him before continuing to fly out of the Ship Plane without hesitation. In fact, the instant he burst through the rift, Benjamin knew things had gotten serious.
The pure-white Plane Barrier behind him churned wildly as countless lights gathered.
Its imposing force was completely different from before. Without question, this was the army of the Information Beings.
"Damn! These guys are reacting way too violently."
Benjamin did not waste another word and turned to run.
His figure became a streak of light as he shot frantically toward the depths of the Ship Plane.
The next second, the rift exploded.
Countless Information Beings poured out like floodwaters unleashed from a dam, their pure-white radiance instantly staining half the sky.
They had no physical forms, yet their overwhelming presence pressed down so heavily that it was hard to breathe.
Detecting the enemy attack, the Ship Plane's Defense Arrays activated at once.
Dozens of pillars of light shot into the sky, and massive elemental torrents blasted straight into the swarms of Information Beings.
Fire, wind, water, and earth—the four great elements—converged under the arrays' effects, then poured madly into the enemy ranks without any restraint, tearing the foremost enemies to pieces.
But those fragments did not dissolve into motes of light as usual.
They twisted in place, seized the energy around them, and rapidly reassembled. In mere seconds, they condensed into complete Information Beings once more
