On the high platform, Su Qian slowly swept his gaze over the packed plaza. A moment later, it settled on the statue at the entrance of the Blazing Sky Qi Refining Tower. His expression grew slightly dazed as he murmured, "If that little fellow were still alive, I'm afraid even I would find it difficult to defeat him."

"The time is almost here. Prepare to open the Blazing Sky Qi Refining Tower." Su Qian glanced at the sky and spoke.

An elder respectfully acknowledged the order, then flew down from the high platform and landed outside the Blazing Sky Qi Refining Tower's doors. His hands rapidly formed seals, and a surge of Dou Qi blasted onto the doors. Amid a series of creaks, the heavy black doors slowly opened.

"Remember, enter in an orderly manner. No fighting is permitted today. Anyone who violates this rule will be barred for one week..." Su Qian's gaze swept across the crowd as he spoke calmly.

Before he could finish, however, his keen senses made his expression abruptly change. His gaze snapped toward the Blazing Sky Qi Refining Tower. He could clearly sense an immensely terrifying scorching heat rapidly approaching from within. He immediately shouted, "Something has happened in the tower! Close the doors at once, quickly!"

Su Qian's sudden shout plunged the entire plaza into silence. Countless people stared blankly at his drastically changed expression, completely bewildered.

Though the elder had no idea what was happening, he reacted swiftly upon hearing Su Qian's order, slamming the heavy doors shut at top speed!

Shortly after the doors closed, the temperature throughout the area suddenly began to rise. A thunderous roar like churning magma, accompanied by earth-shaking tremors, rapidly drew closer.
