A winding path, lush with flowers and trees, snaked deep into the grounds.

Ji Changfu had reached the solitary building at the deepest part of the school.

He swept his gaze around and held his breath, sensing carefully for a moment. He found no one.

After a brief pause, he walked to the door and reached out to push it open.

Just as his fingers were about to touch the door, a voice suddenly rang out nearby. "Master Ji, it's lesson time. Why are you here? What are you trying to do?"

The Headmaster?!

Ji Changfu was startled. He had just checked the surroundings, and there had clearly been no one here!

How could the Headmaster...

Before the thought could run its course, his mind went blank, and he lost all his memories!

BOOM!!

A bolt of thunder exploded in the sky, and Ji Changfu involuntarily slipped into a brief daze.

When he came to again, he found himself back at the lectern in Class B.

Ji Changfu looked puzzled. It was lesson time... That was right. He should begin teaching!

The Headmaster had told him to impart everything he knew today, but he knew too much. There was no telling whether he could finish teaching it all in a single day. He had to hurry...

Just as Ji Changfu was about to begin, he caught sight of the words in blood on his arm.

He froze for a moment. Soon, his expression turned cold.

"Anomaly"!

He had to leave at once!

"During class, the teacher may leave the classroom..."

"The 'anomaly's' exit is at the deepest part of the school..."

After reading those two lines of bloody writing several times, Ji Changfu glanced at the empty classroom, said nothing, and went straight out the door...
