Background / History

Wang Dong Er spent years concealing her female identity as Wang Dong. When she finally revealed herself to Lin Yuan, she gave him her real name and described the caution she had lived under while maintaining the disguise. Lin Yuan accepted her without surprise, and their relationship became openly romantic. 161

She resides at Haotian Fort under the protection of her “First Father” and “Second Father.” When Er Ming confronted Lin Yuan upon their arrival, Wang Dong Er immediately intervened on Lin Yuan's behalf and objected to her guardians treating him as a threat. 167
