The successful transformation of the Time Chessboard was undoubtedly an enormous boost to the Sky Ruins Firmament itself.

However, although the transformation had been completed, the exploration of the River of Time ruins outside had not ended because of it.

Besides consuming vast amounts of Void Energy, the Time Chessboard's newly acquired "Time · Reversal" trait also required the resource known as Origin of Time.

This stretch of River of Time ruins was currently the only place he knew of that could produce such a resource.

Origin of Time might be far less sought-after than super resources such as Primordial Copper, Eternal Stone Brick, and Chaos Qi, but it was even rarer. Since he had the opportunity now, he naturally had to stockpile as much as possible.

However, compared to when the civilization war had ended nearly a hundred years ago, when its "Nine-Life Life-and-Death Chess" trait had only two uses remaining, the cracks on the 361st Nine-Life Life-and-Death Chess piece of this replicated Time Chessboard were clearly far less dense.
