"Right there, in the east room."
The little boy, Ajie, answered.
"Your home?"
His uncle stared wide-eyed.
The little boy smiled sweetly and nodded. "That's right!"
His uncle pressed him. "Is it alive?"
The little boy frowned. "Of course the Heavenly God is alive. Uncle, you're being terribly disrespectful to him."
The little boy's father suddenly thought of something. "Ajie, you don't mean that human-shaped stone pillar I brought home, do you?"
His vision went dark, and he nearly fainted.
So the Heavenly God medicine his son kept going on about every day was stone dust scraped from a human-shaped stone pillar.
No wonder that "medicine powder" looked so familiar.
A stone pillar?
His uncle stared blankly.
The little boy explained that his father had come home injured that day and fallen unconscious.
In his desperation, he'd seen a little powder fall from the stone pillar, glowing faintly.
When he sniffed it, it had a sweet fragrance.
And that Heavenly God was incredibly heavy, with a battered yet imposing appearance.
With nowhere else to turn, the little boy had thought the divine statue was answering his prayers.
He'd mixed the powder into water and given it to his father. Unexpectedly, his injuries had improved.
Later, he'd gone back to "ask" for a little more, and his father had actually woken up.
Could it be a human-shaped stone medicine?
His uncle's expression grew grave. He belonged to an immortal sect and knew that some mysterious Ancient Medicines came in all kinds of strange forms. It wasn't impossible.
"Cousin, how are you feeling?"
His uncle asked.
The little boy's father had regained some color, and he looked more energetic. "Cousin, I think I'm getting better."
His uncle was even more astonished. "Let's go see!"
The whole village was just as shocked.
Whoosh!
