Background
The sect occupies a site once belonging to an ancient immortal great sect, where “myriad immortals” were said to have paid homage during its height. Its ancestor chose the name Myriad Immortals Sect in the hope of restoring that ancient glory. The sect inherited a substantial portion of the ancient world’s remaining foundation. 262 263
It publicly opened the Gate of All Beings for the Myriad Races Trial, seeking successors from every race while offering unusually valuable inheritances and cultivation resources. This decision drew sects and geniuses from across the Immortal Relic Continent. 182 184
The sect later endured repeated attacks by the Dark Immortal Palace. Its prior Holy Son was killed, and its Immortal Tower—once the only intact Immortal Artifact on the continent—was severely damaged and forced into dormancy. 255 539
Myriad Races Trial
| Placement | Reward |
|---|---|
| First | Entry into the sect; candidacy for Holy Son; a Sacred Medicine; a peerless immortal scripture; baptism in the Immortal Pool |
| Second | Entry into the sect; a Sacred Medicine; access to the Myriad Saints Pool |
| Third | Entry into the sect; a Sacred Medicine; access to the Sage Cave |
Killing was permitted during the trial, but placement was determined by a participant’s gains within the Gate of All Beings rather than their number of kills. The Sage Cave preserves ancient Saints’ insights, while the Myriad Saints Pool contains fragments of a Saint’s Great Dao. 184
The trial produced Li Ye as the sect’s new Holy Son. King Wu and Yu Jiutian also entered the sect as elite disciples, receiving Silver Dragon Tokens. 263
