Unable to wait another moment, he entered the cave. But when he saw what was inside, Qinghe Dragon King's face instantly darkened.

The cave was empty, in complete disarray.

His immense divine sense surged out like a tide, sweeping over every inch of the cave. His expression grew darker by the moment.

He stepped out of the cave.

A Dragon Roar, even more violent and furious than the one he had let out while overcoming his tribulation, erupted from within.

The mountains trembled violently at the roar. Rocks split apart, leaves rustled down, and countless weak demon beasts exploded beneath the terrifying dragon might.

From a secluded rocky cavern emerged a huge demon bear, its body crimson and as large as a mountain.

Fast asleep, it was jolted awake by the sudden roar and the shaking earth. It had always been ill-tempered, and was about to fly into a rage.

But then it seemed to remember something, and the anger in its heart turned to fear.

The void twisted, and Qinghe Dragon King appeared.

"Y-Your Majesty! You've emerged from seclusion?!"

Feeling the pressure radiating from Qinghe Dragon King, the fur along Chiyan Demonic Bear's body bristled. It scrambled out of the cavern and prostrated itself before him, its massive body trembling like a sieve.

Qinghe Dragon King stared fixedly at Chiyan Demonic Bear, his voice carrying a murderous fury suppressed to its very limit. "Chiyan, before I entered seclusion, I ordered you to protect the Dragon Son. Now tell me: where is my Dragon Son?"
