A short while later, everyone arrived at the examination room.

It was an enormous classroom with a vast floor area. Never mind the decor—the distance between each desk was genuinely huge.

There were over a hundred seats in the entire classroom, more than enough for the next batch of examinees.

A chart had been posted on the blackboard, detailing every desk and the corresponding number assigned to each examinee.

The positions of ninjas from every village and every team had been deliberately separated, presumably to increase the difficulty of the exam.

Uchiha Mai's seat was near the back of the outermost row. Unfortunately, it was not by a window.

After finding his seat, Uchiha Mai leaned back in his chair and checked his stationery.

Whenever he looked up, he could see Mei Terumi, seated by the door, turn around and wave at him, while his cousins Tekka and Shangfeng frantically signaled at him with their eyes.

More than ten minutes later, the dark red-haired Rasa walked into the classroom carrying a stack of test papers. He picked up a piece of chalk and wrote his name on the blackboard.

Then he turned and swept his gaze over the crowd before saying sternly, "Allow me to introduce myself. I am Rasa, a Jonin of Sunagakure, the person in charge of this Chunin Ninja Exams, and the proctor for this written test.

"Before handing out the papers, I will explain the rules of this written test.

"There are ten questions in total, worth ten points each, and you will have eighty minutes to complete the exam.

"After the test ends, we will calculate the total score of each team. The half of the teams with the highest total scores will advance.

"For example:

"There are forty
