Opposite him stood two deities.
The one Ye Tai called a filthy monkey was the God of Depravity!
The one he called a brute was the God of Courage!
After all, having come from a parallel Earth much like Azure Star, no one understood better than orthodox Earthlings how to give people nicknames with a touch of discrimination mixed in.
The descriptions were remarkably fitting.
Courage? Wasn't that just being a brute? When it was time to run, he should run, yet he kept fighting to the death even when he could not win. If that was not brutishness, what was?
As for depravity, his human form always resembled a scrawny drug addict of a monkey, living off the desires of others with that utterly shameless air about him. What else could he be but a filthy monkey?
The God of Depravity spoke. "Our karma has not yet been completely erased. There must be an accounting for what was done in the past. We were all once within the scheme. If we do not resolve it, even greater evil consequences may arise."
