Civilization Battlefield.

This war had been going on for a long time, and the area it covered had continued to expand.

Even though both sides were doing everything they could to keep unrelated parties from being drawn in too deeply, that would only make the situation increasingly difficult to control.

Yet a prolonged war would inevitably affect more people. Some things had to be done out of necessity. You might not want certain people entering the fray, but the other side could exploit the attention you spent preventing them from doing so and make you suffer even greater losses.

Many things were unavoidable, forced upon them by circumstance.

At present, only one side achieving a complete victory, or the gods speaking up to end it, could bring this to a close.

But everyone knew perfectly well that the gods' long silence likely meant they had fallen into an even greater struggle.

They would have to wait until the gods determined a victor, or strive to gain an absolute advantage themselves and lend the gods a hand. That would hasten their own victory, creating a chain reaction that gave the gods greater leverage and ultimately secured the final outcome.

Yet the current situation was that the odds remained evenly split. If one side had to be said to hold a slight advantage, it was instead the Infinite Sacred Domain, which should have been at a disadvantage, that was gradually gaining some initiative.

This outcome exceeded everyone's expectations. The disparity was right there; a sixty-forty split would have been more accurate. Moreover, the longer the war dragged on, the greater the Karma Fire Demon Binding Domain's advantage should have become.

The fact that they were a Level One civilization proved they were more well-rounded in every respect. With their powerful resources and
