Upon hearing the name Demon Empress, Third Sequence seemed to suddenly remember.

"So she's that Boss of yours who supposedly went into seclusion but was actually observing the battle? I didn't expect she'd still be willing to fight. If you hadn't mentioned her, I would've thought she was dead."

Hades forced a smile. "Don't misunderstand. She really was recovering from her injuries and only just recovered recently. The moment she heard that you wanted to take West City, she immediately came out to support you."

Third Sequence did not deny this. He indeed wanted to capture West City, but not for any strategic reason. He simply wanted Luo Ze to come over.

But that kid seemed to have learned quite a lot recently. Not only had he gained patience he never possessed before, even his way of thinking had changed in leaps and bounds.

He wasn't so easy to fool anymore.

"Do it as soon as possible. I won't limit your time, nor will I dictate how you take it down. But my requirements remain the same: maintain absolute victory. No one is allowed to retreat even half a step."

This was a necessary condition.

Third Sequence's army was not made up of living beings at all. It was a substance capable of absorbing various materials from the outside world, then reproducing at a terrifying rate and growing frantically.

In human terms, it was a kind of negative emotion—Fear, resentment, whatever it might be.

As long as there were people among humanity who harbored such emotions, those things of his would never disappear.

South City was the only one among the Four Great Cities located closest to the border. Its strategic position could be called the throat of all four cities, with the most important transport route directly behind it.
