The homeroom teacher felt that Lin Xiangzhi, the new student, was far too timid. He was worried the girls wouldn't be able to adjust to their new surroundings quickly and that it would hurt their studies. After all, every second of this repeat year came with enormous pressure. If they couldn't get into a good study routine quickly, it would be hard to improve their grades.

But now wasn't the time to talk about that. All the students were waiting for him to speak, so the homeroom teacher could only keep an eye on them and give them a little extra encouragement. He glanced at Wang Yue and Lin Xiangzhi, then said to the class, "These two have just transferred here and joined our Shenghua repeat class. The boy is Wang Yue, and the girl is Lin Xiangzhi. Let's give them a round of applause."

A few of the boys in class were annoyed that Wang Yue was blocking their view, but the pretty girl would have to come out and introduce herself sooner or later. They didn't mind waiting a few seconds.
