When it came to the problems Li Dawei and the other two were facing, Wang Yue didn't offer any advice. They were all adults and police officers at the station, so sooner or later they were bound to run into similar troubles. He figured it was enough to be a sounding board for their rambling; there was no need to weigh in. After all, the masters of those three were all his elders.

Wang Yue heard that Xia Jie had actually gone out on a call that day, together with her master, Cheng Hao. They had raided an entertainment venue, and Wang Yue wanted to go see for himself.
