A New Year's Letter to My Readers
It's New Year's Eve today. I wish all my readers a joyful family reunion tonight and a happy New Year! May everything go your way, may your future be bright, and may you achieve great things!
It's been a full year since my book went on sale last Lunar New Year's Day. I've updated 3.25 million words, gradually increasing from four thousand a day at the start to five thousand, six thousand, and eight thousand, and eventually ten thousand a day. Sanlun has also gone from a confused novice writer to someone who can at least vaguely see the direction their writing should take.
In the days ahead, Sanlun will keep updating as usual, writing each story to the best of their ability and giving everyone a good reading experience.
I've received a lot of support from fans this year, which has given Sanlun more motivation to write. That's how I've managed to write so many words. Your support is what keeps me going.
Actually, writing this book has been a bumpy journey for Sanlun.
When I first started writing, Sanlun was actually planning to write My Policewoman Girlfriend. I only had a rough idea in mind, and when I tried to flesh out the outline, I realized my writing skills might not be up to the task, so I hesitated.
Around that time, I was reading lots of novels about traveling between different worlds and quick transmigration. I saw an established author say that beginners should write stories about traveling between worlds. Sanlun didn't know anything, so I changed my mind and decided to take that author's advice.
So Sanlun turned the policewoman story in my head into the modern-day setting, with the protagonist traveling through different fictional worlds to learn skills.
