When the monsters saw the blue light, they fled like a retreating tide, hiding in the deepest corners as though afraid it would shine on them.
Watching this, Wang Yue belatedly realized that those strange creatures hadn't attacked him and Xuan Mo when they first entered the cave because he'd been holding that little flame.
