History

The Sky Curtain descended while Tang San and Dugu Bo were in Sunset Forest, darkening the sky across the continent and imposing pressure severe enough to alarm Titled Douluo. It announced the activation of the Dual Parallel World Comparison System in golden characters. 1

It transmitted knowledge of parallel worlds, alternate selves, and the coming comparison directly into every person's mind. The transmission is described as a higher-dimensional rule implantation rather than an illusion or mental attack, allowing both ordinary citizens and powerful Soul Masters to understand it instantly. 1

The Curtain then opened its two-sided projection, designating the original timeline as the Black World and the variable timeline as the White World. It proceeded to compare the lives, choices, resources, and combat development of the two Tang Sans. 3 42

After the war's conclusion, the entity appeared as the Sky Curtain Settlement and conducted a final comparison of the two worlds' long-term futures.
