After ruling out the first seal point, Shinji didn't hesitate for a moment. He immediately headed for the second seal point marked on the scroll.
Much later, he arrived at the foot of a cliff. Gently running his hand over the hard rock face, he murmured, "Is this the place?"
He closed his eyes and sensed his surroundings.
As before, he couldn't sense the Nameless One's presence.
"Maybe it's because I lost Naobi."
Shinji shook his head, put the thought aside, and prepared to start digging.
After locating the exact seal point by comparing it with the Sealing Scroll, he immediately unleashed Wood Release. Countless vines slammed into the cliff face and burrowed through the rock, pulverizing every stone covering the seal point.
Even the hardest rock was as brittle as tofu before Wood Release. In moments, a stone door hidden within the cliff appeared before Shinji.
"What kind of sealing jutsu is this?"
Compared to the clay jar at the first seal point, the second was clearly on a much grander scale. Shinji couldn't recognize a single one of the ancient, intricate sealing formulas carved into the stone door.
After a brief moment of thought, Shinji activated the Rinnegan's ocular jutsu, Seal Absorption, and pressed a palm against the door.
In an instant, Seal Absorption began to consume the sealing formulas covering the door, bit by bit. They crumbled away and soon vanished without a trace.
With the seal on the door dealt with, Shinji turned his hand and used Banshō Ten'in, violently wrenching the stone door open from the outside with its pull.
Boom.
With a thunderous crash, the door was forced open by Shinji's ocular jutsu, revealing what lay beyond.
"Hm?"
Shinji raised an eyebrow.
Behind the stone door was a small stone coffin. A middle-aged ninja
