After Anleisi fainted, Kaius unleashed considerable strength.

The soldiers surrounding them were no match for him. Only higher-ranking knights could exchange a few moves with him, but they were quickly defeated as well. They could not fight him at all.

As for the Starfire Knights, who theoretically could have lasted a few more exchanges, they had silently withdrawn from the battlefield after receiving Hewei's orders. Even now, their departure seemed not to have drawn anyone else's attention.

Carrying Anleisi prevented Kaius from using his most skilled three-sword style. Not only could one of his hands not hold a sword, but he could not clench one in his mouth either. Otherwise, before he even cut down an enemy, he might slice off his own sister's skullcap first.

With a single sword, he darted back and forth across the battlefield like Flash. Every swing sent a group of soldiers crashing down and losing their ability to fight. The reason those soldiers did not die on the spot was not because Kaius showed mercy, but simply because he had no need to waste his strength.

He raced through the battlefield, rescuing the Holy Light Knights. Every time he saved someone, he immediately tossed a string of acceleration spells onto them. Before long, a line of rapidly moving Holy Light Knights followed close behind him.

"Go!"

After saving the last half-dead Holy Light Knight, Kaius visibly let out a breath of foul air. Turning around, he swung his blade, forming a dazzling sword aura as immense as a mountain. It instantly carved a path through the cluster of soldiers, like Moses parting the sea.

The Holy Light Church members hurried through that hard-won gap. No matter how the soldiers along the way attacked and cursed at them, they threw themselves wholeheartedly into running away.
