"What the hell is this?"
Hewei held—no, lifted—the huge stone slab that had suddenly fallen from the sky, utterly bewildered.
This thing called a Titanite Slab was even bigger than he was!
When it fell from the sky just now, one tiny corner had struck his head. That alone had nearly knocked him unconscious on the spot. Thankfully, a piece of Strangling Dragon Fang had rushed out beside him and blocked it.
He lowered his head and saw that the dragon scale which had shielded him from the damage had shattered into fragments all over the ground.
". Ghru."
The sound of swallowing was crystal clear within the pitch-black space, filled with lingering terror.
If Strangling Dragon Fang had not blocked that blow, he probably would not have merely passed out. His head would have burst open, splattering crimson everywhere.
"Getting crushed to death by dungeon loot would be way too embarrassing."
Hewei sighed and shook his head. He tried to lift the Titanite Slab higher to inspect it closely, but even when he exerted himself, it barely moved.
"So heavy! Much heavier than it looks."
He had Strangling Dragon Fang help again, and only then did he manage to prop the Titanite Slab, as large as his body, upright against the wall. By then, sweat had actually formed on his forehead.
This definitely was no ordinary item! He could tell just from touching it!
The Titanite Slab looked like a massive, heavy stone plate. Its surface was densely engraved with incomprehensible runes. It also appeared to have been chiseled and cut, as though it had broken off from some even larger object.
Titanite Slab, Wedge Stone Shard. With names so similar, not even an idiot would believe they were unrelated.
