History

Great Xia has endured a millennium-long struggle against Exotic Beasts. Its first successful seizure of a Beast Den, Immortal Ridge, was treated as a historic breakthrough, but holding the territory was immediately recognized as the greater challenge. 347

The nation’s crisis extends beyond conventional warfare. The Heavenly Demon Realm is described as a projection of numerous worlds, including Great Xia, whose world is gradually merging into the Exotic Beast world. Wu Kong warns that weaker human nations and species suffer devastating losses during such integrations. 412

A past debate within the Martial Emperor Hall reportedly concluded that Great Xia was fated to perish once the realms fully intertwined; the resulting dispute caused an unprecedented internal conflict, though the details have largely been lost. 346
