Three Flower Lady's Modern Travelogue (Part 1)

Spirit Spring City, Yizhou Province, Green Cypress Airport.

In the waiting lounge sat an exceptionally beautiful young girl.

She looked youthful, and dressed the part too: an oversized hoodie with a hood and pockets, paired with equally loose, comfortable pants. What drew the eye most was the headphones on her head, decorated with a pair of cat ears that made her seem all the more youthful and lively.

Perhaps immersed in her music, the girl kept her delicate little face straight, without the slightest expression.

Cool and aloof. Focused.

At her side sat an antique brocade pouch, utterly out of place amid the surroundings, though it somewhat suited the vintage trend popular in recent years, appearing simple and gentle.

"Bzz bzz~"

The girl pulled one hand from her pocket and took out a compact phone.

Old Sprout Taoist: Where are you?

The girl raised her head, still wearing that straight-faced expression. She glanced around, then lowered her head expressionlessly and began typing.

Three Flower Lady: At the airport.

"Bzz bzz~"

Old Sprout Taoist: It'll be good to experience it.

Old Sprout Taoist: Let me know when you get to Wavezhou.

After reading the messages, Three Flower Lady tucked her phone back into her pocket. Keeping a straight face, she sighed softly, looked around again, and removed her noise-canceling headphones—

"Whoosh..."

The clamor around her immediately flooded into her ears like waves crashing together.

It was an evening flight, and quite a few people sat in the waiting lounge. Some complained about the delay; some were on the phone explaining things to others; some asked airport staff when the plane would arrive and demanded compensation. Conversation filled the air, along with children crying and the roar of planes taking off and landing outside.

So noisy.
