The Artifact Spirit's grand boasts left Zhishou and Hanyu utterly at a loss for words.
Especially Hanyu. He no longer knew whom to believe.
If he trusted Zhishou, then the Hexi Slash was a complete rip-off.
If he trusted the Artifact Spirit, then the Hexi Slash was a complete rip-off for other people.
Just one word of difference, yet the effects were worlds apart.
Zhishou suddenly bristled and glared, feeling as though this was challenging his entire worldview.

It could not say much about anything else, but it was absolutely certain about this.
"I'm telling you, this rule seems to have shown no mercy at all in the beginning. Later, I don't know why, but some lousy tradition of leaving people a few crumbs and scraps got added."
As the Artifact Spirit spoke, Zhishou's expression abruptly changed. Without warning, he moved and grabbed the Artifact Spirit, examining it from head to toe.
"What the hell are you trying to do? Hanyu, come pull him off!
