Mash nodded. There was simply no right answer to such a question, but that was precisely why she admired Lianye for answering her so frankly.
Three days later, Lianye arrived at Da Vinci's magic workshop once more.
The rare magical materials had all been gathered. Da Vinci had bled herself dry, bringing out both her treasured—looted—and handcrafted precious materials. Phoenix Feather, Blood Tearstone, Barbarian God Heart... dozens of valuable materials were arranged within the magic array according to their ratios, waiting only for Da Vinci to activate the formula, finely grind the materials into pure magical energy, and use it to reforge Jeanne d'Arc Alter's Spirit Origin.
"You're here? Then we can begin the breakthrough and reconstruction of the Spirit Origin."
Da Vinci gripped her staff tightly. Her long hair and colorful skirt fluttered without wind, giving her the air of a sage.
In truth, she was indeed one of the rare Omniscient Geniuses in all of human history.
"Wait!"
Lianye raised a hand, signaling Da Vinci to hold on for the moment.
"What is it?"
He smiled at Da Vinci, who was looking at him with slight bewilderment. "Did you think I hadn't prepared anything these past few days?"
0 ...
Lianye produced a star-blue card from nowhere, lightly pinching it between two fingers.
"What is that? A Magic Costume?"
Da Vinci was an expert at crafting Magic Costumes specifically for Servants, yet even with her discerning eye, she could not make out what sort of energy the card contained.
"A Magic Costume?" Lianye raised an eyebrow. It could probably be understood that way, but this "Magic Costume" likely cost far more than any five-star Costume.
Because this card was called—Star Realm Communication!
With a flick of his fingers, the card transformed into star-blue radiance and scattered away.
