"The interesting part isn't the vast flames of the Human Order Incineration, but that blazing light within the sea of fire..."
· ...Please give flowers... · Lianye fixed his gaze on the massive sphere known as Chaldeas. This device, the crystallization of numerous highest-level magecraft technologies including the Laplace Observation System, possessed exceptionally unique observational capabilities. The anomalies seen from here would correspondingly manifest on the real Earth.
—Setting aside what anomaly the flames of the Human Order Incineration represented, what exactly did that star-bright radiance mean?
"I noticed that speck of starlight too. It differs slightly from the flames of the Human Order Incineration; it seems to be an even higher-level 'anomaly'! Whether according to historical records or astronomy, planetary anomalies appear to be the highest level of 'ill omen.'"

Dr. Roman spoke as he shook his head regretfully. "It's a pity Director Olga Marie isn't here. Since astronomy and celestial phenomena were her specialty, she surely would have been able to draw more valuable intelligence from it. Ah, right, Lianye, what do you think it is?"
"You, the person in charge of this field, don't know either, so how could I possibly know?" Lianye shrugged noncommittally. "In any case, once we reach that era, all the answers will naturally become clear."
"Ahaha, true enough."
Dr. Roman rubbed the back of his head and chuckled.
Lianye's understanding of and connection to stars was by no means shallow, but the anomaly observed through Chaldeas was, at most, merely a surface phenomenon. What the situation truly was would have to wait until they entered the Roman Empire of that era and investigated it firsthand.
