The Dark Eldar's "Fang" hovercraft actually "drilled" straight into the space in front of them.
"Drilled into" wasn't quite the right way to describe it.
More accurately, it was as if they'd entered some kind of "portal," and there just happened to be an entrance here.
"This is—the Webway?!"
Alvin's eyes flickered as he asked.
The Warp wasn't somewhere one could enter just anywhere. They had to find a place where the barrier between reality was weak. Besides, the engines and technology of the human warships clearly didn't fit the Dark Eldar's profile.

Anna's face was full of pride and arrogance, along with scorn for humanity. "The Webway is our creation. Even if you know the entrance is here, it's an intricate maze. You could go in and still never find the right path."
Alvin narrowed his eyes and gazed at the "entrance" tunnel, smiling meaningfully. "Is that so? Well, that's—not necessarily true."
Humanity couldn't control the Webway now, but who knew what the future might bring?
"Lord Alvin, you're joking~"
Anna smiled, clearly unconvinced.
Humanity?
A species with a mere few thousand years of history thought it could compare to the glorious Aeldari?!
Even the fallen Dark Eldar had once come from a mighty lineage. Their ancestors had fought in the War in Heaven and
