ETO: What an Shameless Wallfacer!

A few seconds earlier.

Just after Alvin had finished delivering his arrogant, over-the-top speech, he left the United Nations Headquarters and stood in the flat, wide-open plaza.

Suddenly, a man in a white robe broke through the soldiers' line and sprinted toward Alvin. As he ran, he tore open his robe, revealing something strapped to his chest.

"End human tyranny! The world belongs to the Trisolarans!"

The man's face was alight with fanaticism. He roared at the sky and pulled the trigger on the bomb. "Damn you, Wallfacer! In the name of the righteous ETO Organization, I bring down divine punishment upon you!"

"Look out! A bomb!!!"

The soldier on guard at the entrance stared in horror, his pupils contracting. He didn't even have time to tackle the Wallfacer ahead of him before the man's vision was swallowed by blinding light.

"Get down!"

BOOOOM!!!

A deafening blast erupted, carried on a terrifying wave of flames. The scorching heat seared skin, while the tremendous sonic boom shattered the air. The shock wave spread outward at astonishing speed!

The blistering air swept past, and shattered chunks of paving stone flew in every direction like raindrops. A huge fireball rose into the sky as thick smoke rapidly engulfed the entire plaza!

"Bomb!"

The crowd erupted in screams.

The people outside the plaza immediately fell into chaos.

People fled in every direction. Cries and alarms rang out all around, while soldiers stationed farther away sprinted toward the blast site.

"No—Alvin!" Sai, the United Nations Secretary-General, scrambled out of the building in terror. But when she saw the enormous fireball and black smoke billowing skyward, her heart sank to the bottom.

Another one dead!

Sai was ready to curse.

What had she ever done to deserve this?

Last time, Luo Ji had walked out of
