The Human Alliance's assembly hall fell silent.
More than two hundred representatives from countries around the world seemed frozen in that moment, their faces filled with shock, fear, and—astonishment.
That included the three Western Council representatives who had been the first to stand up and voice their opposition.
Every politician seated in that hall had been carefully selected from among thousands. Reading people's expressions was one of the most basic skills they possessed.
And for that very reason,
they could sense the unshakable, indestructible resolve in the "Fourth Wallfacer's" tone, expression, and eyes—a determination as hard as stone!
He was serious!
"Destroy more than half of humanity..." The American Representative seemed to snap out of a daze and dropped heavily into his chair. He looked as if his soul had left his body, staring blankly at the figure before him as he muttered, "Daemon. Daemon. Daemon..."
The assembly hall was enormous,
but his muttering still carried across it.
And the American Representative's dazed whisper expressed what they were all thinking.
Yes. The "Fourth Wallfacer" before them was no "savior" of humanity. He was a daemon clawing his way out of Purgatory and into the human world!
What he brought was not hope.
It was war, slaughter, despair, and annihilation!
Among the silent assembly members, only Radias—who had recently been broken by the Wallbreakers—showed keen interest in Alvin's plan.
This decisive madman, who had come up with the idea of "mutual destruction," didn't feel the slightest fear. If anything, he looked fanatical.
Radias fixed his bloodshot eyes on Alvin. His voice was hoarse, yet he sounded intensely excited. "What are you planning to do? Dissolving the governments of all the countries and uniting humanity is only the first step. You must have another plan, right?!"
"You're curious?"
