The council meeting ended, and the representatives of each country were left with different thoughts.
Alvin certainly didn't expect a few words here to accomplish the goal of "unification."
He still needed an opportunity.

Over the next few days, as agreed, the Human Alliance Council released a video of the day's events, including the establishment of the Holy Terra Alliance Council. As the news spread through the media, it quickly stirred up a wave of reactions across all levels of society in every country. Some supported it; others opposed it.
Around the same time, the Fourth Wallfacer, Alvin Valshius, became a hot topic of discussion among all humankind.
Meanwhile, Alvin, at the center of the storm, returned to his experimental base as if nothing had happened. Apart from the addition of Radias and Taylor, almost nothing had changed.
Of course, he knew what the outside world was discussing. Beneath the seemingly calm surface, undercurrents were already surging.
The various countries, especially America, would never agree to his plan.
Most importantly, would the ETO really sit idly by?
Alvin didn't believe the Trisolarans would watch him carry out his plan to unite all of humanity.
So what would the ETO do next?
He absently rubbed his fingers, a hint of anticipation in his eyes.
Unlike the aggressive strategies Taylor and Radias had proposed, he preferred to wait for the enemy to walk into his trap.
After all, he still had some standards.
Seizing power by force would look far too ugly. That was the first reason.
