"Are you planning to place me under house arrest?" Shangguan Ru still wore a bright smile, as if the Dragon King were joking with her.
Gu Shenwei's expression, however, was so stern it bordered on cold. "If you think that counts as house arrest, then so be it."
"What if I refuse to go back?"
"Then I'll have to kill you tonight."
Shangguan Ru burst into laughter, delighted beyond measure and drawing the attention of many people. She suddenly made a bold move, grabbed Gu Shenwei's hand, and ran toward the outskirts of the camp.
