They had been incredibly lucky.

The first hideout they reached hadn't been attacked. Its leader, Zeka, had also received the news and was organizing the people there to evacuate.

Like Doran, Zeka was a God-level expert. He led an organization called the Shadow Walkers, meaning "rebels hidden in the shadows."

Jing Gege and the others' arrival startled Zeka. He only relaxed after realizing they weren't members of the Demon God Race.
