Background / History

Yuki was formerly the sole special-grade sorcerer of the modern era before Satoru Gojo. She spent years overseas, routinely ignored Jujutsu Headquarters' orders, and was known for acting beyond its control; Tengen's private support prevented the higher-ups from moving openly against her. 33 40

She is one of only two Star Plasma Vessels known to have refused fusion with Tengen. Yuki resisted fiercely and once considered organizing other vessels to oppose Tengen, whom she distrusted despite Tengen's claim that fusion would never be forced. 53

Her research centers on souls, cursed energy, and the origin of sorcerers. She concluded that sorcerers arise from mutations of the soul rather than simple heredity, and she defied Jujutsu Headquarters' prohibition on researching cursed-spirit composition. 50 51

After the Zenin Clan's destruction, Yuki returned to Japan at the higher-ups' summons. She criticized Gojo's indifference toward the clan's fall and Tengen's noninterference in Jujutsu Society's decline. 33 34 38
