Baleful Spirit Spider Scorpion King

The charging giant Baleful Spirit Spider Scorpion King was utterly terrifying. Its eight thick jointed limbs, like siege pillars, smashed into the gray-white wasteland rocks with thunderous booms, each blow leaving deep cracks.

Its enormous body was like a moving fortress, charging straight ahead with the force to crush everything in its path.

Most eye-catching was the millstone-sized energy vortex at its tail, spinning madly with a mournful "whooo-whoo" shriek as it continuously drew in the gray-black deathly energy permeating the surroundings.

A dangerous dark-red glow flickered around the vortex's edge. Clearly, it was building up a terrifying strike.

The aura of the initial Supernatural Power realm erupted without restraint, mingling with pure yin baleful death qi to form an icy, bone-piercing spiritual pressure that descended upon Lu Chen.

An ordinary initial Supernatural Power realm cultivator, facing this pressure bolstered by its home ground alone, would likely have their mind shaken and their strength greatly diminished.

Yet Lu Chen's expression remained unchanged. Purple-gray light flowed through his eyes as the "Truthbreaker" and "Gaze" abilities of his Godslayer Thunder Eyes activated simultaneously. In an instant, he saw through the weak points in the force distribution along the Spider Scorpion King's charging trajectory, as well as the core energy node within the tail's energy vortex.

Lu Chen shouted low. Rather than retreating, he advanced, stamping down fiercely. His body shot forward like a cannonball leaving its barrel, charging head-on toward the Spider Scorpion King!

He did not choose to confront its sturdiest frontal carapace head-on. Instead, just as the two were about to collide, his figure flashed eerily to the left. Wind God Wings combined with Shrinking the Earth into an Inch, and he instantly shifted thirty meters sideways.

By a razor-thin margin, he avoided the Spider Scorpion King's frontal
