I was probably unconscious for about ten hours yesterday, which was why I'd woken up at night.

I checked the date. It was March 19.

March 19, 2032.

The heat forced me to take off my clothes and jump into the water. The cool water felt wonderfully refreshing. I took a couple of sips,

but the water on the surface was clean, anyway. There was no human pollution, and even though it hadn't been disinfected, my body wasn't afraid of that sort of thing.

After the apocalypse, viruses and the like had evolved too, but I figured... now that I'd recovered and was healthy, my resistance to viruses should rank among the best in all of

humanity.

I played around in the water for most of the day. When the sun began to set, I climbed out, and a wave of hot air immediately washed over me.

After drying off, I checked my guns. Sigh... If only I had some kind of animal to ride right now. Cars had their limitations, after all.

With an animal, I could just feed and water it, then keep going.

Or maybe I could find an electric motorcycle. It wouldn't matter if it had a battery or not. I had electricity.

Hmm... I should hide these weapons here first. There seemed to be a city nearby. The map... was still here.

I'd go check out the city tonight...
