So, the stone had come from the left. It must have been the front left.
If I flew straight toward XZ, then the front-left direction was southwest.
I was a little curious. It seemed like I had GPS now, and could accurately judge my location. What was this
weird thing?
Of course, I didn't know the name of the place I was in. I could only tell which direction I was facing. I could vaguely
feel where north, south, east, and west were.
I was flying through the air in a torrential downpour, with visibility of only three or four hundred meters. Lightning flashed and thunder rumbled overhead. Even without a compass, a
map, or any landmarks, I could somehow still tell north from south.
Was this... some kind of migratory-bird instinct?
Had I turned into a birdman?
I looked back at my wings.
Well, if I had transformed, I'd probably just become a dragon-person.
Of course, I had no idea whether my body would keep changing now that I was a dragon-person. It would be best if I could stay
like this. I didn't want to end up like the woman in that movie Lucy I'd seen before, who eventually evolved into air. That would be no fun at all.
Still, I believed my cells wouldn't just collapse that easily. At least, so far, there hadn't been any signs of that happening.
I'd better keep flying. Why worry about all that?
I glanced listlessly in that direction. At least there didn't seem to be any more bugs over there. It looked like they'd retreated after seeing the plane get
shot down, right?
That also proved that these bugs definitely had intelligence. They could even tell whether a plane had crashed.
In other words, they really were smart. That was
