The Awards Chen Could Never Win in His Lifetime

Kevin Durant played 37 minutes, shooting 13-for-21 from the field, 4-for-6 from three, and 7-for-7 from the line to finish with 37 points, 9 rebounds, and 4 assists. He remained an unstoppable force on offense.

He went to work in isolation, standing tall and ignoring everything around him as he schooled every Bucks defender.

Meanwhile, the teammate who gave Durant the biggest boost tonight wasn't Paul George. George finished with just 19 points, 7 rebounds, and 3 assists. If not for his 3 steals and greater contributions on defense, he might even have been branded a game-losing liability.

The one who truly supported Durant was the team's third option, Kemba Walker.

Walker was in excellent form tonight, even going toe-to-toe with Lillard for a stretch. He finished with 25 points, 3 rebounds, and 6 assists.

He provided Durant with scoring support while also fulfilling his duties as a point guard perfectly. The only pity was that KD and PG took too many mismatches in isolation, costing him quite a few assists~~

By comparison, several of the Bucks' players were a tier below in their performances.

The Greek Freak finished with 28 points, 16 rebounds, and 4 assists; Lillard had 23 points, 7 rebounds, and 8 assists; Middleton had 19 points, 6 rebounds, and 3 assists; and Brook Lopez had 14 points and 10 rebounds.

Not terrible, but that was about it.
