December 2.
The Thunder Team continued their homestand, welcoming another visiting team to challenge them.
And the team visiting Oklahoma tonight was an old rival, too...
The Utah Jazz, from the same Northwest Division, once again stood opposite the Thunder Team.
However, when facing this old rival, the Thunder really showed them no mercy~~
The game had barely begun before all suspense was wiped out.
At the opening, Russell Westbrook immediately brought out his MVP-level offensive firepower.
Relying on his scorching touch tonight, Westbrook went a perfect 4-for-4 from the field in the first five minutes of the game.
Adding two free throws, Turtle Turtle scored 10 straight points, leading the team in a 15–5 run against the Jazz.
Riding that surge, the Thunder Team established a decisive advantage in one stroke.
After that, Davis and Alexander began taking over, using their seamless pick-and-roll coordination to continue dismantling the Jazz's already terrible defense.
Thus, when the game finally ended, the Thunder Team easily won 121–103.
Westbrook played 31 minutes, shooting 11-for-18 and putting up a magnificent 30 points, 10 rebounds, 10 assists, and 1 steal, adding another brick to his grand triple-double campaign.
Anthony Davis, meanwhile, needed only 28 minutes to casually rack up an economical double-double of 22 points and 13 rebounds.
As for Chen...
After resting for nearly a week, Chen had clearly rested too much... Or perhaps his body had been drained dry~~
In any case, Chen's performance was somewhat disappointing to the spectators who had come to the arena tonight solely to watch him play.
He played just 24 minutes, going 4-for-9 from the field, 1-for-3 from three-point range, and 6-for-6 from the free-throw line, finishing with 15 points, 5 rebounds, 7 assists, and 2 steals.
It was another career-low performance.
In the spectators' eyes, Chen
