Background / History

Ye Yu was later revealed to be a participant in the Ye Family’s Gu Raising Plan, a competition intended to produce the strongest descendant of the Xuan Meng lineage. His memories were sealed by Ye Meng, who sent him to Earth before the plan began; he subsequently transmigrated to the World of Gods with no recollection of that origin 434 663.

He awakened as a new god in Arbor God City with exceptionally poor initial parameters: 10 Divine Power and a Divine Domain of only one square kilometer. Rather than developing through conventional faith, he received the Little System and gained Earth Players as his believers, eventually naming them the Fourth Catastrophe 1 18.

Ye Yu established Lingxiao Immortal Palace within his Divine Domain and presented himself to the first Players as its Palace Lord. He built Immortal Path around quests, Contribution Points, cultivation methods, NPCs, and player-driven development, using the Players’ growth to fuel his own advancement 5 8 26.

Appearance

Ye Yu is a black-haired, black-eyed descendant of the ancient gods. He is widely regarded as exceptionally handsome and carried the reputation of Arbor God City’s foremost prodigy long before his awakening results branded him a “trash god” 14 169.

Personality

Ye Yu is pragmatic, observant, and highly opportunistic. He treats Divine Wars, monster hunts, system functions, and even rival gods as resources to be managed. Rather than relying on conventional faith, he turns the Players’ creativity, persistence, and infinite revivals into an advantage that other gods cannot easily counter 8 11 27.

He is also cautious about direct conflict. Ye Yu prefers ambushes, disguises, carefully selected teams, and political alliances over unnecessary risks; he repeatedly chooses to strike first against enemies he considers future threats 65 95 106.

Despite his cold exterior and sarcastic manner, Ye Yu is not indifferent to those loyal to him. He spares Xiao Gui when offered his Divine Spark, protects him from Sui Xin’s schemes, and gradually becomes openly affectionate and attentive toward him 62 97 180 339.
