Shedding Burdens, Traveling Light

After the match restarted, Arsenal indeed adjusted their mindset. No longer impatient, they played steadily and slowly built their attacks.

Modrić and Kroos controlled the tempo in midfield, their passing becoming more precise. Li Yufei and Suarez moved flexibly up front, constantly pulling apart Liverpool's defense line.

Liverpool, meanwhile, maintained their attacking momentum, but perhaps because they had led by too much in the first half, the players' form dipped slightly, and their pressing was no longer as fierce.

In the 63rd minute, Arsenal created another opportunity.

Li Yufei received the ball up front, shook off the marking of two Liverpool defenders, and delivered a precise square pass to find the advancing Modrić.

Modrić made a slight adjustment at the edge of the penalty area before unleashing a Long Shot. The ball flew powerfully toward the top corner of the goal.

Mignolet threw himself into the save but failed to stop the ball from hitting the net!

Arsenal pulled one back again!

The away fans erupted in cheers once more. Though they were still two goals behind, they could see the team's effort.

Modrić clenched his fist. With the current score, he had no interest in celebrating wildly.

Wenger stood before the coaching area with a faint, gratified smile on his face. He knew the players had already given everything they had.

On Liverpool's side, Rodgers' expression darkened. He shouted at the players on the pitch, demanding that they tighten up defensively and give Arsenal no opportunities.

Gerrard also began dropping back proactively to help defend. He did not want the team to throw away a victory already within their grasp because of his own carelessness.

For the remainder of the match, both sides traded attacks and defenses.

Arsenal continued to press forward, trying to further close the gap.
