Author's Note

After nearly fourteen months, another book has been completed, and I can finally breathe a sigh of relief.

Let me report on the results!

At the end of the book, the average subscription was over 19,000, just shy of 20,000. This is the best result among all of Old Cotton's books. This achievement is inseparable from the support of all the readers who followed it all the way. Old Cotton thanks all of you, my benefactors.

Thank you to my editor, Blue Light, thank you to the operations officer, Mo Yi the Little Pit, Grumpy, and thank you to myself for persevering.

When writing the latter half of the book, around November last year, I fell ill with something, whether it was COVID or a cold, my body suddenly collapsed. I basically caught a cold once a month, and my throat would hurt frequently. Later, every time I woke up, my hands and feet would be numb for a long time before recovering, and I felt a bit unsteady when walking. After going to the hospital for a check-up, it turned out to be cervical spondylosis compressing my nerves...

It's a long story.

Therefore, the updates in the latter half were quite poor, but no matter what, I managed to persevere and present Du Ge's story completely to everyone, tying up all the loose ends. Du Ge has gone from a dog to a god, ^_^!

I will be taking a break for a while to recuperate and recharge. I will start a new book when I come up with good ideas and stories.
