The Liquid Metal Ball appeared without known origin during the struggle for the Heavenly Dao position. Unlike other contenders, it did not fit any recognized race, cultivation system, or category of existence. It fought the Confucian Sage for ten years; the Sage was ultimately exhausted and defeated, allowing the Ball to take the Heavenly Dao position. 1395

Its victory did not make it complete. The Ball became a flawed Heavenly Dao and spent its tenure seeking a method to repair its missing parts. It considered its direct combat strength inferior to the Confucian Sage’s, despite possessing Heavenly Dao authority after ascension. 1396

The Ball rejected the escape plans and resignations of earlier Heavenly Daos. It regarded the duties of Heavenly Dao as responsibilities to fulfill rather than a burden to evade, while researching legacies left by the second, third, and sixth Heavenly Daos. 1396

Its principal long-term project was the Ancient Heavenly Court Plan. It modified a Ghost God fragment into the Heavenly Emperor, intending for the perfected Dao of the Ancient Heavenly Court and the Heavenly Emperor’s authority to be absorbed into itself and mend its flaw. 1397 2903
