The Light Knights' orderly, imposing hoofbeats rang out along the cobbled streets of Saint Grand Fort.

Sunlight gleamed on their pale golden armor, revealing their resolve, loyalty, and decisiveness.

The arrival of Red Cardinal Claire had once again sent countless believers into a frenzy. They cheered from both sides of the street, gazing in admiration at the Light Knights' might and the Red Cardinal's glory.

"It's the Red Cardinal!"

"Our great Red Cardinal!"

This Red Cardinal had come from the distant Great Empire of Light, from the Aurora Grand Cathedral of Light, where the Creator of Light's divine miracles appeared most frequently. After seventeen years, he had finally returned to Saint Grand Fort!

Having basked for so long in the sacred light of the Creator of Light, Claire seemed to the believers to be so glorious that merely gazing upon him brought them one step closer to heaven. Even the sins of opening the Pandora's box of desire would thus be redeemed.

"The cathedral's holy power seems far weaker than it was more than a decade ago."

At the head of the Light Knights, Claire gazed at Saint Grand Fort's Saint Grand Cathedral. His graying eyebrows furrowed slightly.

A cathedral's holy light had the most direct connection to the number of believers and the strength of their faith. It was also an important standard for the promotion of all clerics. More than a decade had passed, yet the Faith Power of this nation's highest-ranking cathedral had weakened so much?

There could only be two explanations.

A subordinate god had risen and won the people's faith.

Or war had reduced the population, leaving too few believers.

Claire had never considered that people might have abandoned their faith in the Creator of Light. After all, the Creator
