The Qiongqi (Part 2)

This powerful creature named Qiongqi was from some unknown corner of the Star Curtain World.

Aside from possessing terrifying strength that even Reilo's true body had to regard with awe, it also seemed to share some habits with dung beetles. It liked pushing medium-sized floating islands through the Second Lockdown Layer, though no one knew where it ultimately intended to take them.

"Huh?"

The ghastly face on the giant beetle's back looked toward Reilo Star. Recognizing the strange life force it had encountered once before, it recalled their previous meeting and exclaimed in surprise, "Reilo Star?"

It had seen all kinds of strange creatures, and was itself one of the Star Curtain World's bizarre life forms, so it wasn't surprised by a creature named Reilo Star.

But it soon noticed that the consciousness of the enormous astral life-form before it seemed to have entered a dormant state, or perhaps was reverting to a sort of instinctive state and ascending to a higher level. It had broken itself down and merged into the countless life-forms within the cycles of the laws governing its surface.

It was almost like a nascent Star Curtain World.

Could this be an Innate God with a greater mission!?

"Ahem. I'm Reilo Star's guardian. As you can see, Reilo Star's evolutionary path is completely different from that of ordinary creatures. For the sake of better evolution, most of its will remains dormant most of the time. During that period, I speak on its behalf."
